A versatile womens pack for town or trail

Small but mighty
I bought this backpack because I'm a graduate student at a large university and have to walk a lot while lugging around my laptop, some books, and whatever else I need for the day. I previously used a large messenger-style bag, and it was difficult to walk around campus with so much weight on my side. I own a larger backpack, but it was too big for my daily needs, and was also a pain to walk with.
The Keen Venice Backpack is different. While it is small, it has ample storage space. The pockets are in smart places, so not everything has to go into one or two huge pockets. It has a sleeve for your laptop (fits 13-inch laptops or smaller) in the largest compartment then smaller compartments in the front and on the sides for items you don't want swimming around in the main compartment. Best. Backpack. Ever
I purchased this backpack because my family and I always go on family trips, and my husband usually carrys his camera bag, which ends up being the "everything" bag. I feel terrible because it can get pretty heavy. We have a backpack that is also a cooler, however it is rather large, and can get pretty bulky when we are walking around amusement parks and such. So, I was looiing for something that was small, however had plenty of storage and easy to access. I have shoes that are KEEN, and they are wonderful... so I figured I would give this a try.
When I recieved it, which was way before the date it was projected to come, I began to use it prior to our trip just to break it in. It has been two weeks since our vacation, and I'm still using it.
