Works Great!
Fits my scotty strong arm 1085 perfectly!! Says it fits all scotty downriggers. Its a very solid base and is extremely easy to set up. Bolts on in no time. Just BEWARE...This is a 30 degree angled mount. It will not work in a straight pole holder. I made that mistake and had to install a 30 degree pole holder in the boat.

not what I expected
I could have been rushing my purchase but I honestly thought this was a rod holder. I did not realize you needed to order a seperate rod holder that goes into this mount. I was looking for a flush mount rod holder. This looks like an OK product but if you think you are getting a rod holder think again. This is just a base mount for another product. Also overpriced.

I ended up returning it which was very easy using Amazon. Love Amazon!

Really a length extender
bought the Scotty Triple mount for my sit on top kayak. Have a fishfinder in the center mount. I bought this extender to allow the Scotty Rodholder I purchased to reach back closer to my seated position. Excellent quality.

Beware
The photo for this product shows it as a complete unit including the rod holder. That is not what you get. All you get is the extension arm and a clamp screw.

Wish I had known that before spending $18.
